Levis Ayers Grable, 88, of Demopolis died Friday, June 3. Born Feb. 7, 1923 in Holly Pond to the late Orvie and Ella Crane Ayers, she was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Francis K. Grable, daughter Kathleen Grable and grandson Francis Keith Grable III.

She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca G. (Jerry) Acton of Demopolis and Molly Nicholson of Demopolis, son Francis Keith Grable Jr. of Mobile, sisters Imogene Lindo of Las Vegas and June Morton of Warrior, grandchildren Don (Alison) Akin of Birmingham; Amy (Tim) Gillis of Crestview, Fla. along with their children Matthew and John; Tad (Stephanie) Grable of Morris along with their children Mena and Drew; Emily Grable of Theodore; Jay (Stacey) Wilson of Grove Hill along with their children Stathan and Laura Grace; Kathy (Scott) Fulford of Demopolis along with their son Brandon; Michael (Leah) Wilson of Demopolis along with their childern Michael Jr., Allie and Taylor; and Morgan Grable of Theodore. Graveside service will be held Sunday, June 5 at 9 a.m. with Scott Fulford officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing. Pallbearers will be the grandsons and great grandsons.
