Traditionally, the biggest wave of those seeking help comes about a week after the storm. That week has gone, and so has FEMA.

Marengo County residents still seeking aid from the April 15 and April 27 tornado outbreak should call 1-800-621-FEMA or visit the disaster recovery center in Butler, which is still open.
If you’ve not sought aid yet, please do so now. There is help out there for people who need it. If you don’t ask for it, you only have yourself to blame if you don’t get it.
