Due to last night’s outbreak of severe weather and tornadoes the Marengo County Historical Society has elected to postpone its Spring Pilgrimage set for this weekend.

The event will most likely be rescheduled for May 21 but definite plans will be released once they are confirmed.

Tomorrow night’s event spotlighting local author Jim Haskins has been rescheduled for 1:15 p.m. at Demopolis High School. The event will no longer feature the University of West Alabama Choir or the Morning Star Church Choir. This event replaces the planned event for 7 p.m. at the Old School tomorrow night.
