Demopolis High football coach Tom Causey has recruited 10 hungry players to compete in a pancake-eating contest Thursday, April 21, and DHS supporters are invited to come out and root for their favorites.

The contest is part of the Pancake and Sausage Dinner fundraiser that day from 5-6:30 p.m. at Jack’s Family Restaurant sponsored by the Demopolis City Schools Foundation.

Tickets for the dinners are $5 each and are available through Thursday, April 14, from any Foundation board member or by calling the Foundation office at 289-2226.

The young men taking vying for pancake-eating honors at the 5:30 p.m. contest are Damarcus James, Reid Barkley, Wiley Isaac, Steven Foster, Nielsen Renner, Johnny Morgan, James Wilson, Tucker Jones, Tony Nicholson and Ty Harwell.
