Demopolis mayor Mike Grayson will host his first Town Hall Meeting of the calendar year March 30 at 5:30 at Rooster Hall.

The meeting is an opportunity for the mayor to get before the public and address key issues and opportunities in the community.

“Not being aware of any major problems or issues, I think this meeting will be a good opportunity to bring people up to speed on what’s been happening since our last meeting in October,” Grayson said.

City department managers will also be on-hand and available to answer questions specific to their operations or on-going projects.

During the meeting, Grayson will also recognize two of the city’s departments; Public Works and City Hall.

“A lot of the city departments don’t get the recognition they deserve for what they do,” Grayson said. “At each meeting, we’re going to recognize two departments and its employees for the things they do in and for our city.”

Grayson said the meeting would last 90 minutes and will dismiss promptly at 7 p.m.
