William Earl Stephens, 50, of Demopolis passed away at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital Jan. 2. Born in Demopolis June 22, 1960 to Edward Earl and Dorothy Eileen Flowers Stephens, he is survived by his parents, sisters Teresa Stephens McGuire (Russell) of Birmingham and Phyllis Stephens Abrams (Mike) of Eutaw, three nieces, Heather and Mary Kate McGuire of Lexington, KY and Paige Abrams of Eutaw and one nephew, Stephen Abrams of Eutaw. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 5 at 2 p.m. at Rangeline Baptist Church with Reverends Donald Smith and Percy Clarke officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church. Burial will follow in Aimwell Church Cemetery.
