Kenneth Wayne Nichols, 54, of Livingston, passed away Monday, Nov. 15 at his home. He was born Sept. 13, 1956 in Pasadena, Texas.

He was an assistant engineer with the Alabama Department of Transportation and member of the Sumterville Baptist Church.

He is survived by his parents Joe S. Nichols and Helen Nichols of Linden, daughters Leah Nichols of Mobile, Christy N. Tingle of Brookwood and Kim Nichols of Mobile, sister Melanie Stephens of Tuscaloosa, grandmother Sybil Smith of Linden and grandchild Bryson Tingle of Brookwood.

Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church of Livingston, Wednesday, Nov. 17 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Matt Kelly officiating.

Burial was at Linden Memorial Park. Active Pallbearers were Joe Anders, Scott Anders, Eric Anders, Kenney Tingle, Kyle Stephens, Wayne Springfield, Ronny Loper and Jeff Garrick. Honorary pallbearers were Brad Crow, Billy Dunklin and the members of the Marengo Academy Class of 1974.
