Ledyard Thomas “L.T.” Rolison Jr., age 80, of Livingston passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at his residence.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and the owner of the Handy Dandy Food Store.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Frances White Rolison; a daughter, Melanie Rose Rolison; his parents, Ledyard Thomas Rolison Sr. and Lula Boykin Rolison; a brother, brother Carl Rolison; and four sisters, Lucille Johnson, Rolinda Rolison, Willodean Jones and Gynell Moffett.
Survivors include his son, Thomas W. Rolison of New Orleans, La.; three daughters, Tammy Rolison Behles of Livingston, Angela Rolison (Norman Allen) Lewis of Gallion and Connie Rolison (Mike) McKinney of Gallion; two brothers, E.T. “Bud” Rolison of Pushmataha and Rudolph Rolison of Riderwood; two sisters, Lolita Rolison and Troy Rolison of Pushmataha; five grandchildren, Brad Carter, Rollie Carter, Reed Nixon, Nicki Nixon and Amanda McKinney; and two great-grandchildren, Sadie Rose Carter and Chase Carter.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 4, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Bumpers Funeral Home in Butler with Dr. Archie Hooper, the Rev. Brad Carter and Dr. Steve White officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Sterling Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until the service time. Bumpers Funeral Home of Butler is directing the services.
Pallbearers will be Dr. Gray Scott, Dr. Steve White, Ed White, Andy White, Ricky Carter, Mike McKinney, Norman Lewis, Wendy Kuykendall Clark and Paula Whitcomb. Honorary pallbearers will be Mary Wilson, Lacheshia Wilson, Laura Wilson, LaSandra Patrick, Deborah Allen, Delinda Crockett and employees of Southern Care Hospice.
