William “Bill” Johnson

William “Bill” A. Johnson, age 80, died on Monday, March 15, 2010, at Charlton Place in Deatsville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Lenora Johnson; a son, David Johnson; and a son-in-law, Shane Sealy.
Survivors include two daughters, Vicki Sharpe (Gerrell) Carden of Marbury and Pam J. Sealy of Thomaston; four sons, Marc (Myra) Johnson of Hobbs, N.M., Perry (Angie) Johnson of Magnolia, Gerald Johnson of Miami, Fla., and Carl C. (Charlie) Johnson of Demopolis; two brothers, Bobby Johnson of Mobile and Billy Johnson of Decatur; four sisters, Lois (Weldie) Donald of Atmore, Doris Steadham of Foley, Joyce (Pete) Thomson of Pennsylvania and Laura (Greg) Napps of Florence; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friends Ken Sherwood and Esther Murdock.
Services were held on Friday, March 19, at 2 p.m. at Kidd-Robbins Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Rex Kent officiating.
Interment was in Demopolis Memorial Gardens with full Masonic Rites by Demopolis Lodge No. 49.
The visitation was held on Thursday, March 18, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors of Demopolis directed the services.
