Jeremy Wallace was the Week 9 Army Iron Man of the Week after scoring on an 83-yard kick-off return for a touchdown and returning a fumble for a 16-yard touchdown in Demopolis’ 79-6 win over Wilcox Central.
As the Week 9 winner, Wallace is now in the running for the Alabama Army Iron Man of the Year.
Fans of the Demopolis senior receiver and defensive back are encouraged to log on to www.thesportsflash.com/USArmyIronMan-ALABAMA.html and vote for him. When logging onto the website, visitors can vote one of two ways:
You can click the link next to Wallace’s name, which will email your ballot to network administrators. For many, clicking on the e-mail link of your favorite player will be the best way to record your vote.
You may also click the link at the top of the page, which says “ Vote for the Army Iron Man of the Year”.
When voting, only one vote will be counted per IP address during a certain time period, depending upon how often that you’ve attempted to register a vote.
The time frame could be as long as 24 hours.
You may vote several times per day. With the e-mail, one vote per e-mail address is counted each hour.
Currently, Wallace is in third place in voting with 153 votes. Second place is Corey Cahill of Guntersville with 155 votes and in a distant first place is Jordan Creel, of Alabama Christian, with 197 votes.
The winner of the Army Iron Man of the Year will be determined by the most total votes.
Voting closes at midnight Nov. 22.
