This issue of The Demopolis Times is the last daily edition. After today, The Demopolis Times will be published in print twice per week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Its companion Web site, www.demopolistimes.com, will be updated and published daily.

“We would like to thank the thousands of readers, subscribers and advertisers who have partnered with us for the 120-plus years that this newspaper has serviced the community,” Times publisher Jason Cannon said. “We look forward to that working relationship under this new publication cycle.”

The twice-weekly publication is familiar territory. The Demopolis Times expanded from two to five days per week in 2003.

Among the additional changes that will be made with the first bi-weekly edition, which hits newsstands Feb. 4, will be that the newspaper will be delivered via mail rather than carrier-delivered.

Readers will also notice enhanced editorial content throughout the new layout.
