Ollie Frances Brown, 92, of Linden passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital in Demopolis.
She was born Jan. 19, 1917, in Bessemer, and was a homemaker.
Visitation will be held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Linden on Thursday, Jan. 22, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. at Demopolis Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Dunford Cole officiating. O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Linden is directing the services.
She is survived by her son, Fred R. (Wilma) Brown Jr. of Linden; her daughter, Doris Davis of Jeanette, Pa.; her sister, Agnes Eanes of Birmingham; three grandchildren, Kyle (Wendy) Brown, Kevin (Debi) Brown and Jimmy (Vickie) Davis; one great-grandchild, Kea (Lee) Calame; and one great-great-grandchild, Kylie Calame.
Active pallbearers will be Joel Taylor, Brian Taylor, Kyle Brown and Lee Calame.
Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of the Old Town Home.
