Naythell Moorer

Ms. Naythell Moorer –Evans of Demopolis passed Saturday, January 3, 2009 at St. Vincent’s East Hospital in Birmingham. Funeral services were held Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 1 p.m. at Morning Star Baptist Church in Demopolis. Rev. James L. Dunn officiated.
Interment followed in Memorial Cemeter in Demopolis. Larkin and Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis were entrusted with all arrangements.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, “A Loving Daughter” Diane (Flynn) Broady of Birmingham, Georgia Mae Moorer (Howard) Garvin of Phoenix, AZ, Eugene (Betty) Evans, II, Roy James Evans, Walter Wayne (Yvette) Evans and Van Darryl Evans of Demopolis. “Honey” was preceded in death by one brother, James Hunter.
She leaves two sisters and two brothers; Pat Hunter-Bailey and JoAnn Hunter both of Selma and John (Ellen) Hunter and Henry (Ann) Hunter both of Selma. Two step-sisters, Leatha King and Callie Nugent, both of Selma.
“Honey” demonstrated her love for family with a spirit and great devotion, her love for her grandchildren was “Unique”, one grandson, Marcus Maurice Evans preceded her in death.
Stacy James Bolling and Justin (LaKeisha) Bolling of Atlanta, GA, Jason (Katrika) Garvin of Lemoore, CA, Elaine (Ro) Wright, Portia Marie Rhone and Walter Dewayne Evans of Demopolis. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, and four step-grandchildren
