Ruby S. Grammer, 65, of Forkland, passed away Nov. 6 at Bryan Whitfield Memorial Hospital in Demopolis. She was a native of Demopolis and a retired motel clerk. Graveside services will be held Sunday, Nov. 9 at 2 p.m. at Forkland Cemetery with Rev. David Murray officiating. She was preceded in death by her father, Earnest Smith. She is survived by her mother, Marion Smith, of Linden; daughter, Sherri Grammer of Nebraska; son, Mike Grammer, of Dayton, Ohio; brother, Dennie Smith (Diane) of Pensacola, Fla.; sisters, Gloria Carden (David), of Forkland, Jane Corley (Mack), of Murfreesboro, Tenn. and Vicky Gunter (Kenneth), of Linden; two grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
