Marengo County High, led by a potent ground attack, ran right past Georgiana Friday night, 22-14.

The Panthers were led on the ground by junior Tevin Davis, who racked up 94 yards on 20 carries and two touchdowns. Quintin Watkins had 78 yards on 13 carries. James Dumas connected on one of two passes on the night for a 34 yard score.

Defensively, the Panthers were led by Jeremy Bouler, Maraz Tucker and Larrance Pritchett, who each had 11 tackles. Tucker had four sacks and Pritchett had two.
