DEMOPOLIS &8212; Ada Rawls Lindbergh, 89, died Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at Woodhaven Manor in Demopolis. Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, May 24, 2008, at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham with the Rev. T. H. Bartlett officiating.
Lindbergh was a former resident of Birmingham and has resided in Demopolis for the past 35 years and was a member of The First United Methodist Church of Demopolis. Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors of Demopolis are directing the services.
Lindbergh was preceded in death her parents, Frank Rawls, and Elizabeth Steele Rawls; her husband, Robert E. Lindbergh, who was a former Birmingham Police Commissioner; her sisters, Esther Tuttle, Edna Walls, Bertha Roberts and infant Hattie Rawls.
Survivors include her daughter, Ann Ketcham, and her husband, Dr. Paul Ketcham, of Demopolis; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, one niece and one nephew.
Pallbearers will be Albert Fletcher Giles, Albert Fletcher Giles, III, Andrew Tyler Watts, James Thomas Turnball, Spencer Ketcham Turnbull and Paul Franklin Ketcham.
