BELLAMY &8212; Carrie Capers-Phillips, 79, of Bellamy, died May 2, 2008, at her residence. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2008, at Morning Star Baptist Church in Bellamy with the Rev. Robert Pearce Sr., officiated. Interment followed in Jefferson Cemetery, in Jefferson. Larkin and Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis were in charge of the services.

She is survived by his four children, Earnest Leroy Capers and Georgia Capers, both of Elyria, Ohio, Lucy Capers and Jerome Capers, of Bellamy; three brothers, Robert Alston of Linden, Frank Alston and James Capers of Bellamy; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
