DEMOPOLIS &8212; Sallie Essex, 84, of Demopolis, died April 30, 2008, at her residence. Funeral services are set for 1 p.m., today at the Millers Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, in Demopolis, with the Rev. K Jefferies officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation will be an hour before the service at the church. Larkin and Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis are in charge of the services.
