DHS Quarterback Club brings home the bucks
Mary Ellen McCrory won $8,000 in the Demopolis High School quarterback club draw down last week, however taking home the big money for the night was the DHS Tigers. The event netted the club with $16,300 after dishing out $10,250 in cash prizes.
Club members plan to use the money to supplement the income lost from an additional game&8217;s worth of ticket sales. The Tigers will play only four home games in 2008 as opposed to the standard five.
We agree with Causey&8217;s sentiments and applaud the club for their great effort and the community for its support.
