DEMOPOLIS &8212; Inez McDaniel, 83, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2008, at her home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22, 2008, at Kidd-Robbins Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chris Ross officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery with Kidd-Robbins Funeral directors of Demopolis in charge of the services. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008.

McDaniel was born in Tennessee, had lived in Demopolis the past 60 years and was a member of The First Christian Church of Demopolis. She retired from West Alabama Mental Health after several years of service.

McDaniel was preceded in death by her parents, William S. McDaniel and Rose Smith McDaniel; three brothers, Isaac S. McDaniel, William Haskel McDaniel and Harold McDaniel.

Survivors include her brother, Farris McDaniel of Thomasville; four nieces, Patricia Smith of Wetumpka, Linda McDaniel of Demopolis, Noley Roberts and her husband, Charles, of Thomasville, Virginia M. Kidd and her husband, Bobby, of Demopolis; three nephews, Bert McDaniel of Linden, Bill McDaniel and his wife, Brenda, of Linden, Joe McDaniel and his wife, Peggy, of Greensboro and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Reynolds, A.C. Reffett, Johnny Johnston, Larry Ross, Waymon Qualls and Bobby Jackson.
