JEFFERSON CITY &045; Howard Joseph Baldwin, of Jefferson City, Tenn., died on Jan. 25 at his residence after a long illness.

He was a member of First Baptist Church, a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and retired from AT&T with 38 years of service.

His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Baldwin and Fern B. Baldwin, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Baldwin, of Jefferson City; sons Joseph C. Baldwin and wife, Michelle, and Christopher Baldwin of Knoxville, Tenn.; daughters Jennifer Schuchart and husband, Neil, of Jefferson City; Sharon Hazelwood and husband, Max, of Maryville; five grandchildren and two great-grand children; sister Joanne Baldwin Ware and husband, Jim, of Amelia Island, Fla.; brother Michael Baldwin and wife, Aysil of Instanbul, Turkey.
