Tuesday will mark an exceptionally important day for the residents of Alabama. Tagged as Super Tuesday, the primary election day has been anticipated for many months. This day marks Alabama’s opportunity to make their opinion known and make a bold statement.
Presidential candidates seeking their party’s posts will continue visits to the state this weekend in hopes of influencing Alabamians to mark their ballots in his or her favor. Democrat Barack Obama was in Birmingham on Sunday. Republican Mike Huckabee visited Alabama last Saturday and is returning today. Republican John McCain planned a rally in Birmingham on Saturday. And former President Bill Clinton scheduled a return trip to the state to campaign for his wife, Democrat Hillary Clinton.
Use this weekend as a time to decide who to vote for on Tuesday and go out to the polls and make your opinion known. Let the country hear Alabama’s voice loud and clear in this election.
