JEFFERSON &8212; Dorothy Compton, 72, of Jefferson died Jan. 16, 2008, at Mobile Infirmary Hospital in Mobile. Funeral services will be held at noon, Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at First Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Jefferson. The Rev. Edmond Charleston will officiate. Interment will follow in Jefferson Cemetery in Jefferson. Public viewing will be held from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis are in charge of the arrangements.
