Shelby visits Marengo County residents

DEMOPOLIS &8212; As part of his commitment to visit each county in Alabama once a year, Sen. Richard Shelby (R-Ala.) will hold a town hall meeting at 10 a.m. on Monday at Rooster Hall.
Shelby is expected to discuss his legislative agenda for the 110th Congress, which continues its legislative session this month. He will also open the floor for discussion.
Most recently, Shelby has been working to secure funding for Alabama programs and departments. Just recently Shelby announced funding for three volunteer fire departments in Priceville, Mt. Hope and Mexia.
Furthermore, Shelby has addressed the most recent burst of severe weather to hit parts of West Alabama.
