MARION &8212; Mattie May Palmore, 102, of Marion, died Dec. 19, 2007, at her residence. Graveside service is set for 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Marion City Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Larry Teasley officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel directing. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Palmore&8217;s memory at the Marion United Methodist Church.
