LINDEN &8212; Mary Kate Cook, 95, of Linden died on Dec. 1, 2007, at Marengo County Nursing Home. Funeral services were at 11 a.m., Dec. 3, 2007, at Demopolis Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Tommy Car officiating. Interment followed in the Riverside Cemetery in Demopolis.

Cook was born Jan. 29, 1912, in Florida, she was a music teacher.

She is survived by Sean Smith, three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

The pallbearers were Sean Smith, Jason McDanal, Alex Whiddon, Rusty Judd, Alex Brame, Jeff Ford and Martin Bailey. The honorary pallbears were Charlie Cannon and Bill Culpepper.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Marengo County Nursing Home, 608 North Main Street, in Linden or the Demopolis Presbyterian Church Choir, 300 N. Strawberry Street, in Demopolis.
