LOGANVILLE, Ga. &8212; Funeral services for Ollie Givan, 58, of Loganville, Ga., former native of Forkland, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, at the Springhill Baptist Church in Boligee. The Rev. Willis Gulley will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Inge Place Cemetery in Boligee. Public viewing will only be held at the church.
The remains will lie in state at the church beginning at noon on Wednesday. Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis are in charge of the arrangements.
Givan died Nov. 30, 2007, in Georgia.
Survivors include a husband, Hosea Givan, of Loganville, Ga.; two sons, Clyde Miller and Abdulla Givan; four sisters, Minnie Evans and husband, Henry, of Penn., Rose Isaac-Cook of Ga., Dorothy Moore and Mamie Newton of Ala.; two brothers, Curtis Newton of Ala. and Willie Parker of Ill.; one aunt, Mary Anthony of Boligee; two goddaughters, Cotasha Scott and Aminah Scott; one godson, Brandon Washington; nine nieces, 11 nephews; a host of other relatives and friends.
