DEMOPOLIS &8212; Earnestine Hughes Johnson, 77, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007 in Selma. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007, at Westside Baptist Church in Demopolis with the Revs. Richard Scott and Tommy Carr officiating. Interment will follow in Demopolis Memorial Gardens with Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors directing services. Johnson&8217;s body will lie in state one hour prior to the services at the church. The family will receive friends at Kidd-Robbins Funeral Home Chapel from 4 until 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2007, at Kidd-Robbins Funeral Home Chapel.

Johnson was preceded in death by her grandson, James Andrew Dukes III and her son-in-law, Ray Morgan.

Survivors include her two daughters, Carolyn Dukes and her husband, Andy, of Demopolis, Linda Morgan of Cuba; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one brother, Lee Hughes of Pensacola, Fla.
