PAYNE, Ohio &8212; Cornelia Ann Jones-Henry, 58 of Payne, Ohio, formerly of Gallion died Nov. 5, 2007, in Paulding, Ohio. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007 at the John The Baptist Church in Gallion. The Rev. Gerome Burrell officiated. The Rev. Jesse Wheeler served as master of order. Interment followed in the adjoining cemetery. Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis were in charge of the arrangements.
She was born to the late Ruby &8220;Bessie&8221; Jones and Sam Jones in the Faunsdale community. She confessed Christ and joined John The Baptist Church in Gallion, and later attended Friendship Baptist Church in Demopolis and Latty Zion Church of Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Samuel Lee Jones, two sisters-in-law, Linda Marie Johnson and Beverly Ann Henry, father-in-law, Jasper Henry and mother-in-law, Florina Henry.
She is survived by her husband, Alvin Henry of Payne, Ohio; four children, Carolyn Kemp and Christopher Fluker of Defiance, Ohio, Jimmie Kemp Jr. of Puerto Rico and Debra Rowser of Demopolis; two step-children, Victoria Grooms of Ft. Port, La. and Jethedia Henry of Opelousas, La.; 11grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Annie Branch and husband, Jimmy, and Vermita Bruno of Gallion and Joann Bennett of Demopolis; three brothers, Van Jones of Gallion, Von Jones of Demopolis and John Hamlett and wife, Lilliie, of Augusta, Ga.; one aunt, Mary Mayton of Faunsdale; five sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous relatives and friends.
