SWEET WATER &8212; Sweet Water High School head coach Stacy Luker has looked at some tape on his first-round playoff opponent, Providence Christian, and is expecting a physical game at home on Friday.
Facing a team that enjoys physicality should be right up Luker and his Bulldogs&8217; alley. His group has remained undefeated thus far this season while beating out a Top 10 4A team out of Thomaston the first game and beating out two Top 10 2A schools mid way through and to finish off the season.
With a goal of remaining undefeated and winning a second state championship in a row, Luker and the Bulldogs are eying the prize &8212; but not looking past anyone.
For this game, Luker is getting his team ready to adjust to the smash mouth style.
In other words Luker is going to put as many players in the box as necessary to stop the Providence Christian run game. On the other side of the ball, Luker isn&8217;t as sure about what awaits his group from the Providence defense.
