GREENSBORO &8212; Catherine Reed-Williams, 82, of Greensboro died on Oct. 11, 2007, at Hale County Hospital in Greensboro.

Funeral services were held at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, at Mount Horeb Baptist Church in Newbern. The Rev. James Carter officiated. Interment followed in Curry Grove Benevolent Society Cemetery. Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis were entrusted with arrangements.

Survivors include seven children: Martha Williams, Annie McNealey and husband, Willie, of Greensboro, Patricia Ruffin and husband, Willie, Gladys Moore and husband, Braxton, of Newbern,

Joe Mack Williams and wife, Diane, of Newbern and Robert Williams and wife, Sherry, of Greensboro; six siblings, Mary Greene of Newbern, Pinky Bell Jones of Greensboro, Leroy Reed of Uniontown, Andrew Reed and wife, Opehelia, Henry Reed and Richard Reed, all of Newbern; 18 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
