Some homecoming festivities have come and gone. Others are yet to come. Still others &8212; like those in Demopolis &8212; are taking place right now.

This is always a fun time, not only for the current students who fill their week with festivities, but also for those who return to their alma maters, visit with old friends and relive &8220;the good ol&8217; days&8221;.

And while that is what homecoming is all about, we hope that at the same time you are taking your stroll down Memory Lane you will consider how you can give back to your schools.

We live in an area where school funding is hard to come by. But if every graduate who could would give just a little back, it would make a world of difference in what we could accomplish for students to come.

So consider giving back to public education. Our schools will make us a stronger community.
