BOLIGEE &8212; Laura E. Davis, 89, of Boligee died Sept. 21, 2007, at Greene County Hospital in Eutaw. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007 at Little Zion Baptist Church in Boligee. The Rev. Willis Gulley officiated. Interment followed in Freehope Cemetery in Boligee. Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis were in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include a daughter, Delois Glasper and husband, Johnny, of Calumet Park, Ill., sons, Willie Davis of Boligee, Marzette Plump of Chicago and Henry Burrell of Columbus, Ohio; one special god-daughter, Martha James of Eutaw; two stepchildren; one sister, Alice Clark of Bessemer; one brother, Fred Plump of Detroit; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
