AKRON &8212; The Linden High School Patriots recorded their third win of the season Friday night against Akron High School, but head coach Andro Williams said the win wasn&8217;t as pretty as the 52-36 margin sounds.
The Patriots did produce offensively during the game, however, producing 513 total yards. Maurice Tate led the team on the ground, picking up 184 of the group&8217;s 377 yards on the ground and five touchdowns.
The group was four-for-13 passing with one interception.
On the negative side the group lost two of its three fumbles, which along with the interception makes three turnovers. The group also struggled to hold off the return teams of Akron, allowing a kickoff return and another return to the Linden 10-yard line.
