Napoleons hosts Dining for Miracles

DEMOPOLIS &8212; During lunch on Thursday, Napoleon&8217;s will take part in West Alabama&8217;s inaugural &8220;Dining for Miracles&8221; event to benefit the Children&8217;s Hospital of Alabama by donating a portion of their lunch profit to the hospital.
Saliba said he received a letter, which was sent out to area eateries regarding the fundraising opportunity, a few months ago.
Saliba said he hopes the community will support the event. Napoleon&8217;s will host the Demopolis Civitan Club meeting Thursday, which will help boost the fundraiser as well, Saliba said.
A component of Children&8217;s Health System, Children&8217;s Hospital is the only free-standing pediatric hospital in Alabama dedicated solely to the treatment of children and one of approximately 55 freestanding acute care pediatric hospitals in the U.S. Children Hospital is home to one of the largest pediatric outpatient center in the nation and the state&8217;s only pediatric Level I trauma center. Children Hospital also houses the largest pediatric burn center in the Southeastern U.S. and a pediatric hematology/oncology center and stem cell transplant program.
