David Wallace and his family were watching a football game Thursday night when they smelled smoke.

Wallace and his son found a vacant bedroom in home filled with smoke.

Smoke filled the home at 800 Arcola Road in Demopolis, roaring from louvers at both ends of the house. Demopolis Fire Department responded to the fire. No one was injured in the blaze.
