Alexander returns to The Demopolis Times staff

DEMOPOLIS &045; Editor and Publisher Sam R. Hall recently announced the return of Amanda Alexander to The Times advertising department as an advertising sales representative.
Alexander was previously employed at The Times before taking maternity leave.
Alexander said she is looking forward to working with Hall.
Aside from a job with the City of Thomasville, Alexander has worked in sales with her previous employers, The Democrat Reporter and WIN 98 radio.
Alexander also said she loves being with her family: her husband, David, her seven-year-old son, Matthew, and their newest addition, a five-month-old daughter, Lillian. When they aren&8217;t at home, Alexander said the family goes to spend time at their lake house in Georgia.
Originally from Chilton County, Alexander has been in the Demopolis community for three years.
She is also pursuing on a marketing degree from Alabama Southern Community College.
Alexander is the sister of another Times staffer, Composing Manager Erin Longcrier.
When asked how it was to start working with her younger sister each day Alexander said, &8220;It gives us a chance to spend more time together.&8221;
