LINDEN &045; Eric Wolf of Linden was arrested by the Linden Police Department on Sunday for possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
According to McClure, Wolf was out on bond from a previous drug conviction from two months ago when he was stopped for a traffic violation.
When asked by officers if he had any drugs on him, McClure said, Wolf produced 10 individual bags of marijuana, seven individual bags of powder cocaine and nine rocks of crack cocaine.
Since January, Wolf had been under investigation for six different drug charges. McClure said since they had Wolf in custody, they decided to go ahead and sign the six pending warrants on charges on unlawful distribution of a controlled substance.
While incarcerated at the Marengo County Detention Center Wolf was charged on Monday for the six pending charges.
McClure said Wolf is being held in the Marengo County Detention Center under a $400,000 bond and they have requested through the District Attorney’s office that the previous bond from two months ago be revoked so that Wolf will continue to remain in jail.
If Wolf is not able to make bond, McClure said, he will remain in custody until a trial date is set for his charges.
