Kelvin Lewis
GREENSBORO &8212; Kelvin Lewis of Greensboro died on June 12, 2007 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2007 at the Union Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. David A. Simpson officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will be in state from noon until the time of service.
Agnew Funeral Home Greensboro is in charge of the arrangements.
Josephine Mullen-Brown
DEMOPOLIS &8212; Josephine Mullen-Brown, of Demopolis died on June 9, 2007 at Henry Medical Center in Stockbridge, Ga.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2007 at Morning Star Baptist Church in Demopolis. The Rev. Earnest L. Palmer will officiate.
Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Demopolis. The remains will repose at the church beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Family hour will be held from 7-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home chapel.
Larkin&Scott funeral directors of Demopolis are in charge of the arrangements.
Mattie Lee Vice Norris
DEMOPOLIS &8212; Mattie Lee Vice Norris, 93, of Demopolis died Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at Woodhaven Manor Nursing Home after an extended illness.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2007 at Kidd-Robbins Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Richard Scott and Ed Pickel officiating. Interment will follow in Octagon Cemetery with Kidd-Robbins funeral directors in charge of services.
The Vice family will receive friends at Kidd-Robbins Funeral Home Chapel from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, June 15, 2007.
Norris was born September 19, 1913 in Octagon, has resided at Woodhaven Manor the past four years and lived in Demopolis most of her life. Norris was a member of Westside Baptist Church.
Norris was preceded in death by her husbands, Woodrow W. Vice and the Rev. Tom Norris; her son, William P. &8220;Bill&8221; Vice; her parents, Johnny N. Hill and Lilly Bell Hill; her sister, Judson Irene Jones; her brother, J.C. Hill and her sister&045;in-law, Peggy Hill.
Survivors include her three sons, Kenneth N. Vice and wife, Lorene, Terry W. Vice and wife, Debbie, all of Demopolis, Ricky Vice and wife, Vickie of Jefferson, three granddaughters, one sister, Grace Dixon, of Dixon Mills; two brothers, Oscar Hill and wife, Irma, and David Leon Hill all of Demopolis, five great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews, other family members and friends survived her.
Pallbearers will be Mike Hill, Jason Perryman, David Hill Jr., Medford Pharr, Jerry Jones and Travis Starr.
Honorary pallbearers will Ronnie Hill, Jeremy Coats, Byron Vice, Bradley Vice, Lamar Ballard, T.M. Jones, Dr. Ronnie Chu, Woodhaven Nursing Home nurses and staff; Asera Care Hospice nurses and staff.
