DEMOPOLIS &045; Tonight’s and tomorrow’s Holiday Basketball Classic hosted by Demopolis High School will feature some great individual talent.

The line up for the boys will be the Livingston Cougars, who feature three-point ace Neiko Hunter. Livingston will face the high flying Sunshine Tigers in the opening boys game of the evening, slated to start at 5:30 p.m. Look for the number 20, Royce Hamilton of Sunshine. He has D-I basketball talent.

The nightcap boy’s event will feature the John Essex Hornets and the host Demopolis Tigers, which will start around 8:30 p.m. The Hornets will display a scrappy bunch that battles from the tip-off until the buzzer sounds at the end of the game. Speedy guard Ken Phillips is exciting to watch as well as always determined Darnell Edwards.

The Demopolis fans will have the opportunity once again to watch Mr, Consistency, Casey Canty.

The two winners of tonight’s games will square off tomorrow night for the championship. Tonight’s loser will make up tomorrow’s consolation game.
