GALLION &045; Richard L. Banks Sr., 71, of Gallion died November 26, 2006 at D.C.H. Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2006 at the Bethel Pine Baptist Church in Coatopa. The Rev. Floyd Bell officiated.

Interment followed in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Coatopa. Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis were in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Izona Banks of Gallion; four children, Richard Banks Jr., of Gallion, Ronald Banks of Waukegan, Ill., Ethel Banks of

Gallion and Erma Banks of Demopolis; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four siblings, Carl Edwards of Round Lake, Ill., Jake Banks, Leroy Banks and Mary Lou Finch,

all of Waukegan, Ill. and two step-sisters, Lucy Collier of Waukegan, Ill. and Lela Horne of New York.

FORKLAND &045; Scott Edward Rembert, 50, of Forkland died on November 24, 2006 in Birmingham. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2006 at New Green Oak Baptist Church in Forkland.

The Rev. Edward King officiated.

Interment followed in the adjoining cemetery.

Survivors include a special cousin and caregiver, Brenda Jackson, Dock Bishop, Robert Bishop, Deborah Williams, Sandra Matthews, Barbara Owens, Juanita Bishop, Gregory Bishop, all of Birmingham and a host of relatives and friends.

BOLIGEE &045; Lucille Carter, 61, of Boligee died on November 3, 2006 at D.C.H. Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2006 at Little Zion Baptist Church in Boligee.

The Rev. Willie Carter is the pastor.

Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

The Rev. Willie Williams will officiate.

Interment will follow in Memorial Cemetery in Demopolis. The remains will repose at the church beginning at 12 p.m. noon on Saturday.
