Frances Joyce Dennison, age 62, of Sweet Water, passed away September 5, at her residence. She was born June 15, 1944, in Ruston, La. She was a former school dietician and was a member of Union Grove

Survivors include her husband William E. Dennison of Sweet Water; stepmother, Cecil Newton Barnett of Livingston; three sons, William R. (Vickie) Dennison of Vance, John R. Dennison of Sweet Water and Kevin Lee (Tina) Dennison of Sweet Water; one daughter, Mary J. Dennison of Montgomery; six brothers, John Arthur (Peggy) Barnett of Little Rock, Ark., Winfred Traylor of Bashi, Robert (Debbie) Barnett of Demopolis, Ernest (Genevieve) Jordan of Monroeville, Morris (Joyce) Jordon of Uniontown and Walter Dennison of Monroeville; ten sisters, Margaret (Buddy) Lynn of Sweet Water, Georgia Ann Cobb of Linden, Marie (David) Posey of Huntsville, Sue (David) German of Tennessee, Betty Traylor of Bashi, Madeline (Richard) Titurn of Livingston, Grace Wilkerson of Alabama, Joyce Dennison of Monroeville, Carol Anderson of Mobile and Sharyn Cooke of Sweet Water; four grandchildren; two foster granddaughters, Julia and Emily Frederick of Montgomery and two special family friends, Cynthia Frederick of Montgomery and Peggy Gjellum of Enterprise.
Active Pallbearers were Preston Honeycutt, Robin Barnett, Paul Anderson, Waylon Westbrook, Chris Newton and Kenneth Lynn.
Honorary Pallbearers were brothers and brothers-in-law.
Memorials may be made to the Special Education Department at Sweet Water High School in Sweet Water in memory of Frances Dennison.
O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville were entrusted with arrangements.
