EUTAW-U.S. Sen. Jeff Sessions will arrive in Eutaw today as part of his annual trip around his district.
Greene County Commission Chairman Chip Beeker said Sessions visit was an opportunity to hear the needs of the people he represents.
“He is just coming to do a walk through,” Beeker said. “It is just going to be a town hall meeting type thing.”
Sessions is expected to arrive at the courthouse in Eutaw at around 1:45.
Sessions, who born in Selma and grew up near Camden, has always stressed a concern for the Black Belt. Each year, Sessions uses a series of town hall meetings throughout the region to personally hear ideas and requests from his constituents.
