DEMOPOLIS- Demopolis students should be ready too start school again, but even if they aren’t, Demopolis schools are prepared for them.
Mary Glass, principal at Westside, said they are “certainly” ready for students to once again fill the school halls.
“We painted the school walls and we have a new Voyager reading system that we are waiting to try,” Glass said.
According to her, the entire school will welcome over 600 students, new and old, on August 11.
Glass also said most of Westside’s faculty will return for another year along with some new “highly-qualified” teachers.
Westside will host an open house Wednesday from 2-3 p.m. where parents and students will get an opportunity to meet the faculty.
Westside, along with many other Demopolis schools, is eagerly waiting the arrival of its students.
Glass said Westside is “looking forward to a good school year.”
