DEMOPOLIS – The long wait for spring baseball is now over, and kids of all ages have hit the fields at the SportsPlex for the 2005 Dixie Youth Baseball Season.

Along with 20 teams and local sponsors, the Dixie Youth Baseball League has had a major economic impact on the Demopolis area as well.

All the baseball teams have now begun regular season action and the Dixie Youth Softball League will begin on April 18.
