MERIDIAN – The Demopolis High School Lady Tigers softball team fell 3-1 yesterday afternoon in game one of the Clarkdale Tournament.

Brittany McGee pitched a complete game as she picked up the loss for DHS.

The Lady Tigers lone run was scored in the sixth inning.

Dorothy Knapp began with a single before Brittany Thorne plated Knapp on an RBI double.

The Lady Tigers return to action this afternoon at 12:00 p.m. and will play again at 5:00 p.m.

As far as the game that was cancelled on Thursday against Choctaw County, a date has yet to be set for when the game will be played.
