From Jersey to Demopolis, Young willing to make trek for COTR

Demopolites attending the various Christmas on the River events are accustomed to seeing people from out-of-town milling about, but typically those out-of-towners are from neighboring states, not the other side of the country.

Jack Young, who has been coming to Christmas on the River for probably five years now, hails from Princeton, N.J.

Young was at the Demopolis City Landing Wednesday helping erect the lead Nautical Parade float.

He said he learned of COTR through friends, primarily Jim Bird who is in charge of the lead float.
