Brandon Lewis, COTR’s Special Child for 2004, prepares to flip the switch to light the Love Lights tree at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital on Sunday night. The new 24-foot artificial balsam fir tree was a new addition to the event which traditionally kicks off Christmas on the River. The Love Lights Tree is an annual fund raiser sponsored by the BWWMH Auxiliary. Lights will be sold throughout the holiday season at one for $3 or two for $5 in honor or in memory of a loved one. The lights can be purchased from any Auxiliary member or in the hospital’s gift shop.
