DHS aims for perfect season with win tonight

After tonight’s game, win or lose, the Demopolis Tigers will be heading to the playoffs with home field advantage.
Tonight’s match up places the Tigers up against 5A Greenville, with kickoff slated for 7:30 p.m. here in Demopolis.
Although Greenville’s record may not look too pretty, they have been up against some tough competition and have hung around in most of the games.
The Tigers, meanwhile, enter tonight’s game as the host team and are looking to end their season undefeated.
Demopolis beat Livingston easily last week, 71-0, on the road.
A perfect season looks almost crystal clear.
A prefect season leading up to a state championship.
We can only hope, but one must think that with the way the Tigers have been playing, its likely no one can bring them down.
I suspect the Tigers to come out and take care of business early, as they will most likely end the season without a loss.
Look for head coach Doug Goodwin and his Tiger troops to come out hot tonight and get a big win as they prepare for the playoffs that loom around the corner.
I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again.
The Tigers look like a team with the heart and the ability to bring home a state championship to Demopolis.
After tonight, we’ll be one step closer.
My prediction: Demopolis 49, Greenville 7
