Demopolis ready for homecoming, Raiders
By: Denton Ramsey/Sports Editor
The Greensboro Raiders enter tonight’s game after a 27-0 shutout loss to Bibb County, a team that Demopolis destroyed 57-0 on the road.
The Demopolis Tigers come into host tonight’s homecoming game after a hard-fought victory, 35-13, over Southside-Selma.
With both the offensive line and defensive line for the Tigers playing to near perfection, the Raiders face a near impossible mission.
Look for Coach Goodwin and the Tigers to ease their way to win number six in what most likely will be a one-sided affair from the get-go.
Although the Tigers tend to bring out the best in Greensboro, I doubt the Raiders can bring anything large enough to bring down the strong and talented Demopolis football team.
Come support your Tigers for homecoming as they aim for another victory and, quite possibly, another shutout for the Demopolis defense.
My prediction: Demopolis 63, Greensboro 0
